How the Grinch Who Stole Christmas Party

The annual Christmas Play at ISR was this Friday evening. As you can guess from the title of the post it was an adaptation of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." First off I want to say that the set and decorations were amazing! One of the mother's put literally hundreds of hours into the organizing of the decorations as well as designing each of the 40+ costumes. I was truly impressed. It was awesome! As you can see by the pictures it was a dinner theatre. The main course? Roast Beast; what else?

Sydney was a narrator, and Kade and Brooklyn were Whovillians. All three of the kids played their parts very well. It is amazing to see the growth in the kids as far as being on stage. They really excel at being on stage compared to when we first came. We hope you enjoy the pictures!

Brooklyn with her Kindergarten crew.

By the way, everything here is hand made since there are no holiday stores.

After the show the real Grinch came out to take pictures with the kids.

Brooklyn and Kade in their costumes before the show. Sydney had to go straight to hair and makeup after school so we didn't get a picture of her by herself.

Such fantastic costumes! Love the set and all the decorations! Did the audience dress up at all?

Monica, No only the kiddos dressed up like Whovillians. They were so stinkin' cute though! Not bad for our community of about 120 expats. -John
