Time is such a hard concept for kids to understand. We have talked about this trip to China for over a year. Now it is finally time to go. Brooklyn keeps asking me how many more months till we go. I remember a good friend of mine, Kristi, always explained it to her kids as the number of sleeps left. When I finally explained to Brooklyn we have only one more "sleep" till China she literally skipped to bed ready to get that last sleep over with.
I am just about as excited as she is. I wish, I could skip to bed and get that last sleep over with too but I still have few things to add to our bags. I am so curious to see why God has delayed our trip to this moment. I have no doubt that His timing is perfect and all the delays were part of His "Perfect Plan".
We will be sure and blog as much as we can in China. It should be an amazing week.
