Cannon Beach

 In July, we spent a few days hanging out with John's family in Cannon Beach.  We had a wonderful time relaxing and reconnecting.  The kids had fun letting loose.

Before and during the Update

I thought you might enjoy a few before and after photos.  I am almost afraid to say it but this might be our last week with contractors in our home.  Tomorrow they start taking out all of our carpet and replacing it with laminate.  I am so excited to get rid of our stained carpet.  I will be sure and post photos when it is all finally completed.  We are getting close.

Zoo Trip

Each year we head to the zoo to celebrate my Mom's birthday.  This year was extra fun because it was the first real zoo experience for our two year old niece Adelyn. It was fun watching her discover the animals.  Everyone had a blast.  After the zoo a few of us adventureous ones headed down to the Bite of Seattle.  It was a fun scene.  Lots of great food and music.  We all tried alligator for the first time.  The rest of the family thinks it taste like chicken I am not so sure about that.  I think I will stay with chicken.
